K-Rain is an irrigation manufacturer that has several interesting and unique products. One of my personal favorites is the RPS Select. Instead of installing the desired nozzle from a nozzle tree, there are four selectable MPR nozzle choices. There's a chart with the degrees of arc travel divided into 4, corresponding to the nozzle size. For instance if you needed an arc in the range of 40° - 135°, you would select the #1 nozzle by the Nozzle Selector slot in the top of the head. The arc is set by a slot on top of the head as well, and the Arc Indicator arrow makes it tremendously easy to set either wet or dry. The right limit is fixed and there's options for reclaimed water id and check valves. Available configurations are the 4”, 6”, and shrub rotor. Hopefully, after you finish this course, you won't have any questions about how to design a zone of rotors for a Matched Precipitation Rate, but if it's still a mystery, this product will take all the guesswork out of it for you!
